Peter has directed editorial and commercial films for many lifestyle brands. These films have centered around home makeovers, travel, food and aspirational stories. These creative endeavors have showcased his versatility throughout his career in this space. HIs most notable lifestyle series was for Southern Living and JCPenney. The 19-part series entitled "Building Hope", featured 15 editorial documentaries, 2 branded episodes and 2 broadcast commercials chronicling JCPenney and Operation Finally Home's incredible life changing donation of custom built mortgage free homes for 5 American heroes who were injured in battle. Building Hope was an incredible example of Matkiwsky's story telling prowess in the lifestyle space.

Over the last 3 years, Peter has directed recurring campaigns for AARP  and collaborated directly with their creative director in achieving their specific targeted goals. The series "Real Possibilities" focused on aspirational celebrity stories that provided insight on these individuals incredible transformations to the next chapter of their lives. Over that span, Peter directed 12 short films that reminded people nationwide, that with age comes unique experiences, wisdom and perspective that can create incredible opportunities.

Adventure


In 2017, Peter directed a series for Geico entitled "Ultimate Saturdays". The films were short form lifestyle stories centered around travel and friendship. They featured bass fisherman Mike McCleland, custom bike creator Roland Sands and NASCAR driver Ty Dillon. The videos were a huge hit for Geico and highlighted Matkiwsky's strength in the lifestyle space.
